Leigh co-founded Rushton Transport Services to give HGV and PSV operators the kind of practical, straight-talking support that actually reduces friction — instead of adding another layer of box-ticking on top of an already stretched operation.
Working as both an Operations Manager and a qualified Transport Manager, Leigh has sat on both sides of the day-to-day reality — running operations and holding the compliance responsibility for them — and focuses on solutions that fit the way operations actually run, not just what looks good on paper.
Chris Rushton
Co-Founder, HGV Technician & Transport Manager
Chris co-founded Rushton Transport Services and brings both hands-on technical experience as an HGV technician and the regulatory grounding of a qualified Transport Manager — a rare combination of the workshop and the operator licence.
That dual background means recommendations on maintenance, defect reporting and compliance are built on how vehicles and operations actually run day to day, not just what a policy document says should happen.
Between the two of us, that's operations, compliance and the technical side of running an HGV or PSV fleet, covered by people who've actually done the work — not just written about it.
